GKYM stands for Global Kingdom Young-Adult Mission. The GKYM conference brings awareness to young people about the need of Christian mission around the world especially awareness about the need to reach unengaged unreached people groups in order to finish the task of the Great Commission. Founded within the Korean-American church community, as Global Korean Young-Adult Mission, it now desires to invite church communities of all people groups.

GKYM is put together through the volunteer work of local churches that have a heart for mission. The target audience is college students or young adults ages 18-35 though older adults are also welcome. At the end of each conference, participants make commitments to Christian mission work in the form of short-term, long-term, prayer, and financial support while GKYM International works to follow up with these commitments connecting committed missionaries with local churches and organizations so that they can receive training and live out their commitments on the mission field.

GKYM conferences have been held since 2008 in Niagara Falls and Toronto in Canada and in the following US cities: San Diego, Chicago, and Rochester. The conference was also held in Seoul, Korea. Currently, the head office is based Toronto, Canada with support from local pastors and churches.
